Shri O. V. Sheth Regional Community Science Center (OVSRCSC) has been working in the field of science popularization since 1997. It was awarded a National Award on Best Effort in Science and Technology Communication in 2008 by NCSTC, Govt. of India.

Provide platform, by establishing related clubs, to people with creative hobbies like astronomy, birdwatching, origami, amateur radio etc.

Our Flagships ...
A single day visit to Science Center by School students. The program features interactive curriculum based experiments, astronomy slide show, solar cooker demonstration, science museum visit, etc. It is a full 6 hour program dedicated to science.
This is the rural incarnation of Vigyan Safar where a team of science communicators visit rural schools and indulge in science activities with students. Gramsabha- village gathering, agricultural programs and sky gazing is also done.
Students get to enroll in this program individually. It is a science experiment school aimed at developing a “do it to find” culture in science. Physics, chemistry, biology, environment, math and astronomy are the disciplines that are covered.
