Vernal Equinox Celebration, 20 March 2021
The declination of the sun on the day of the vernal equinox is exactly 0 degrees which means that the sun is exactly on the equator. Measuring the shadow of a vertical object at local noon on this day will allow us to calculate the latitude of our location very easily.
